Caramel Iced Coffee Recipe

Caramel Iced Coffee 1The summer heat makes us want a cool drink more than ever. In the past you may have gone to the nearest coffee shop to buy a cup of tasty caramel iced coffee, but you can brew your own specialty coffee at home. The thought of trying to make caramel iced coffee yourself may seem difficult, however; when it comes to making iced coffee the process is relatively simple and you only need a few ingredients. Here is an easy caramel iced coffee recipe that you can make in a jiffy, and also a spin on that recipe below.

1. Sweet Caramel Iced Coffee Recipe

In this recipe you use espresso with sweetened caramel syrup and whipped cream. This makes a caramel iced coffee beverage as good as any iced coffee that you can buy at a coffee house or restaurant at half the cost.

Ingredients

  • Espresso concentrate – 3 ounces
  • Caramel syrup – 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Milk or almond milk – ¾ cup
  • Whipped cream – 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes – 1 ½ cup

Directions: Blend the espresso, caramel and sugar thoroughly. Put the blender on high so that they are blended well and the caramel and sugar dissolves. Pour in the milk and ice cubes and blend with the blender again so that all the ingredients are mixed well. When the mixture becomes frothy take it out and pour it into coffee mugs. Top it up with the whipped cream and serve.

2. Salty Caramel Iced Coffee Recipe

For those of you who like salted caramel, this is a salty caramel iced coffee recipe. Instead of sweetened caramel, you use salt with the caramel. Alternatively, you can use caramel sauce that you can get at the market that is already salty. Ex: Torani Caramel Sauce. Caution: If you use already salted sauce, then do not add the extra salt.
